Jail Visitation
Saturday - 7:30 am until 1:30 pm
Sunday - 7:30 am until 1:30 pm 
INMATES ON "SOLO RECREATION" STATUS VISITATION SATURDAY/SUNDAY 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM 
Inmates are allowed 1 visitor per weekend for 1 hour per visit.  Visitor's must be pre-approved on the inmate's selected visitation list prior to visitation.  Again, inmates are allowed only 1 visitor per weekend on a first come, first served basis.

Commissary Information

 

Family members may place money in an inmate's commissary account by bringing a money order to the Fayette County Jail during the hours of 8am until 4pm daily.  Money orders should be made out to FCITF / Inmate's Name (Fayette County Inmate Trust Fund).  Follow the signs to the INMATE VISITATION door to deliver money orders.

Inmate telephone services are provided by Global Tel*Link. You may create an account online at www.offenderconnect.com.  You may contact them directly at 1-800-483-8314 to create an account for an account for an inmate at the Fayette County Detention Center. 

 

If you wish to have your number blocked so that you cannot receive calls from inmates at the Fayette County Detention Center, please call 1-877-856-3184 option 1.

Incoming mail should be addressed to:

  • Incoming inmate mail which pornographic, gang, or narcotic related materials will be rejected.

  • Incoming mail envelopes and letters must not contain stickers, tape, or anything other than the postal stamp on the outside. Any envelope or letter containing stickers or tape will be rejected.

  • Mail received at an address other than the Fayette County Detention Center cannot be hand delivered to the jail by friends and/or family of the inmate.

  • No magazines or hard cover books of any type will be accepted or allowed into the jail. Only paperback books and newspapers shall be allowed.

  • All newspapers and paperback books mailed to the jail must be mailed directly from the publisher or book supplier (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.). No magazines will be accepted. Newspapers and books mailed or delivered by individuals will be rejected.
