Public Notice - DOJ Grant Funding
As per Federal Department of Justice
Grant funding requirements, this is a public notice that the Fayette County
Sheriff’s Office has applied for federal grant funding for equipment to
improve law enforcement technology through the purchase of in-car camera
systems. If you have any questions or comments regarding this grant

Civil Rights Act
THE LAW:
“No person in
the United States
shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from
participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination
under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.”
APPLICABILITY:
Title VI covers
all agencies receiving federal funds. Anyone
who believes that an agency or local government receiving federal funding has
discriminated against someone on the basis of race, color, or national origin
has a right to file a complaint within 180 days of the alleged discrimination.
FILING A COMPLAINT:
Title VI
complaints may be filed with the Title VI coordinator, in writing, within 180
days of the alleged discrimination. Complaint
forms may be obtained by contacting the Title VI coordinator listed below.
